We've lived here for almost three years now, and for three years have had "builder blah" paint on the walls. Since we were going to paint Haven's room, we thought it would be a great time to paint some other rooms as well. Some other rooms turned into almost the entire house and an ever growing list of other things for the contractor to do while he was here.Some mid-painting pictures...

downstairs bathroomThe pictures really don't do the chaos justice. I wish I had taken one of our bathtub in the middle of our bathroom - that was interesting. At any given time, we had furniture where it shouldn't be, no furniture where it should be, and at least half a dozen workers inside and out. We had a Murphy bed installed downstairs, 8 rooms painted, the garage attic floored (and the hole where Benton fell through patched), doors and stairs repaired from bad dogs, the fence re-stained, discovered a freon leak and discovered water damage. My poor pooch was a nervous wreck because he (of course) hated everyone.
We're still working on a few things, but the house looks great! It feels like we moved without actually moving, which is awesome :)
